Calendar & Waitlist Dates

Waitlist Opening

Student parking permit waitlists open August 10.
Permits begin being awarded starting August 31 for students, on a weekly basis after that.
Employee waitlist awarding begins in September (specific date may shift year to year — check the Parking Portal for your current status).

Permit Renewals

Quarterly permits: automatic renewal offer sent about 3 weeks before the end of each quarter.
Employee annual/academic permits: automatic renewal offer sent each May for the next academic year.
Student annual/academic permits: not automatically renewed — add yourself to the new academic year's waitlist when it opens in August.

Intersession Parking Windows

Summer/Fall Intersession: on sale June 10–20, valid August 24 - September 15. CR and C lot permits are available for purchase June 11–August 24.
Winter Intersession: on sale December 10, valid December 12–January 3.
Spring Intersession: on sale March 18, valid March 20–28.

Parking Holidays

On these holidays, parking is enforced using weekend rules instead of weekday rules:

New Year's Day
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Presidents' Day
Memorial Day
Juneteenth
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Native American Heritage Day (the Friday after Thanksgiving)
Christmas Day

Visitors should check the Visitor Parking page's "Where Can I Find Parking" section for weekend options. Students and Employees can use their After Hours Permits for additional weekend parking on these days.
