What’s Happening:

A tower crane will be delivered and assembled on the site of the new Kaiser Borsari Hall the week of August 28 - September 1, limiting access through the site. Parking lots 8G and 10G will remain open, but intermittent lane closures on East College Way will cause delays of up to five minutes for vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Parking lot 12G permit holders may see short delays entering and exiting the lot as trucks use South College Way to bring in parts of the crane.

The crane is expected to begin operation the following week on September 5 and will continue through November 25. intermittent lane closures on East College Way will be necessary as the crane offloads building materials and swings loads over the area. Flaggers will direct traffic curing lane closures. Parking lots 8G and 10G will remain open; vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians should expect delays of up to five minutes.

What you will need to do:

8G and 10G permit holders should plan for delays by arriving early. Pedestrians and Bicyclists are urged to use alternative routes to avoid delays.
