EV Parking
Announcement
9G and 10G EV chargers are not currently operational. Please use the chargers in 12G or 17G instead.
Who Can Use It
Any WWU student or employee with an active on-campus parking permit — hourly, daily, quarterly, academic, or annual — can use an EV Charging Station. Resident students can charge overnight or in the evenings.
Locations
WWU has EV Charging Stations in lots 12G, 17G, 9G, and 10G.
- ADA placard holders may park in an EV/ADA space even without an EV.
- If a charger isn't working, report it to Transportation Services rather than waiting it out.
Rules
- Parking in an EV space is only allowed while your vehicle is actively charging, for up to 4 hours. Once charging finishes (or after 4 hours), move your vehicle to your normally assigned lot.
- 7:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday: any valid WWU permit works at an EV station, regardless of which lot it's normally valid for. There's no extra charge to use the station beyond your permit cost.
- After 4:30pm weekdays, and all day weekends: charging is available without needing a permit at all — same active-charging-only rule applies.
- Don't have a permit at all? The ParkMobile app (zone 1200) is the fastest way to get hourly or daily access that works at an EV station.
