May is Bike Month!

During the month of May, the entire WWU community is encouraged to ride a bicycle everywhere and May 21 is Ride Anywhere Day (usually it would be Bike to Work and School Day). If it has been awhile since you’ve ridden a bike, check out these resources. Transportation Services is planning a Goose Chase scavenger hunt with the AS Outdoor Center that will take place from May 17 - 31 and Smart Trips has some great Bike Month events planned. Hop on your bikes and have fun riding everywhere during Bike Month!

Go bigger by participating in Washington Bikes' Bike Everywhere Challenge.

Registrations are now open.

What is the Bike Everywhere Challenge?

In May, individuals and teams of up to 10 riders will compete to see who can earn the most points by riding and encouraging others to ride.

Every mile and day you ride, plus every person you encourage, will earn you points and increase your chances of topping the leaderboard. Find out more here.
