Student Parking After Hours or Between Terms
After-Hours Parking
Free After-Hours parking is available to students who don't have an active parking permit.
- Weekday hours: 4:30pm–7:00am | Weekend: all day
- Covers lots 5G, 7G, 9G, 11G, 17G, and 19G only — no other lots.
- Sign up for a free After-Hours permit in the Parking Portal by selecting "Get Permits."
- Students who already have an active parking permit may park in these same lots during evening/weekend hours without needing a separate After-Hours permit.
- No permit is required in the C lot and 12G during these hours.
- After-Hours permits aren't valid in reserved spaces or lots reserved for an event.
- Temporary permits purchased through ParkMobile or a pay station are only valid for the lot where they were purchased — you can't use one to move to a different lot after hours.
Intersession Parking
Intersession is the period of time in between Academic Quarters. Intersession permits are available for students who don't currently have a permit, or current permit holders who'd like to park in the C lot during intersession.
- Students with a current permit who don't purchase an intersession permit should continue parking in their assigned lot.
- Student intersession permits are valid in the C lot only.
- Current cost: $20.
