Zone Parking

What Is Zone Parking?

Zone parking is a system that allows for increased parking flexibility. Rather than an employee permit only being valid in one lot, it becomes valid in an entire “zone” of parking lots.

When zone parking is active, all employee permits become valid in all “Blue Zone” parking lots listed below, in addition to their normally valid location. “Restricted” parking lots will still require lot-specific permits.

*As a reminder, lot 12G is the new name for lot 12A. They are the same parking lot.

(Restricted Parking lots: 5G, 8G, 10G, 11G, 23G, 25G, 29G, 30G, AIC, Carpool (11GCP, 17GCP, 26CP), Any Resident Lot)

Who Can Use Zone Parking?

At this time, Zone Parking is only available for employee parking permits. Student parkers should continue to park in their normally valid lot.

How Do I Use Zone Parking?

All WWU employee permit holders will be able to use Zone Parking without taking any additional action.

Full Time Permits

Full time permit holders will be able to simply use their already active permit to park in any of the Blue Zone lots.

Pay-By-Day Permits

Pay-by-day permit holders will want to continue using the ParkMobile zone that they were provided when signing up but will be able to park in any of the Blue Zone lots on days that they purchase permits.

Commuter Coupons

Commuter Coupon permit holders will enter their coupon codes as normal in the pay station in their destination lot.
